YELLOW LILY STAR
38” x 38”
|
The large blocks are made up of 4 smaller identical blocks created in
CorelDraw where a half square triangle is replicated and rotated to create
a larger block. The mini blocks in the sashing are stars using the
lilies and commercial fabric. The sashing and borders are commercial
fabrics.

ZEBRA PLANT
22” x 22”
|
Star blocks created in CorelDraw using photos of a zebra plant, flower
and leaves in different parts of the block. 4 blocks sewed together
give a secondary pattern; bordered with commercial fabrics.
Both of these were also exhibited at the Hoard Museum in a show of the Whitewater Arts Alliance of which I am a member. I’m their only art quilter. |
