This quilt uses the tumbling block quilt block. Over 100 photographs were used to make up the quilt. Bee Balm lying on wet rocks borders the scene. At the top is the Chimneys mountaintop from whence flows the river. The river is full of huge boulders and falls for more than a mile. Rock hopping is supreme on this river. Rhododendron bloom in the spring and summer, fall fills the pools with colorful leaves, winter presents a feast of branches and beautiful icy patches. There is a picnic area beside the river. The entrance can be found just beyond the Sugarlands Visitor Center just outside Gatlinburg in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
